Phoenix Sintered Metals, Inc. is the result of consolidating four local powdered metal manufacturing plants into one central Brockway, Pennsylvania location. By merging the resources from Specialty Pressed Components of Kersey, PA and Accu-Met of Ridgway, PA with the assets of two Brockway Pressed Metal factories, Phoenix Sintered Metals created a powdered metal company capable of producing over 2,000 custom designed metal powder components. Phoenix strategically located its powdered metal company in Northwestern Pennsylvania, the heart of the powdered metal industry. Here, the Phoenix staff works diligently to accommodate companies with a variety of needs from a variety of industries, including outdoor power equipment, sporting goods, hydraulic/fluid power, automotive, recreational vehicles, hardware, food service, medical, hand tools, conveyor equipment, construction/rigging, and fasteners. and support you in meeting those requirements.
Phoenix employs a great variety of standard materials in its powdered / sintered metal manufacturing operations in order to provide the lowest cost solutions to your product needs. These materials include iron and carbon steel, iron-phosphorous, iron nickel, copper infiltration, copper steel, bronze, sinter hardened steel, nickel steel, brass, low alloy steel, 300 stainless, 400 stainless, nickel silver, silicon iron, and high alloy steel. Phoenix’s capabilities extend its range of services beyond many powdered metal companies and include an in-house metallurgical lab, an on-site tool and die shop, and secondary machinery operations.
With its 72,000 square foot facility,
