Sharp Recognized

Safety First! Phoenix Sintered Metals is one of the 48 facilities in Pennsylvania and the only Powder Metal facility to be SHARP Recognized by OSHA.

Phoenix Sintered Metals is OSHA SHARP recognized and received the OSHA SHARP Certificate and Safety Flag in July of 2019. We are now recognized until July of 2028. This certificate was for operating an exemplary safety and health management system. Acceptance into SHARP is an achievement of significance that differentiates Phoenix Sintered Metals among our business peers as a model for worksite safety and health.

Collaborating with PA OSHA and earning acceptance into SHARP has benefited the company's safety culture. Phoenix team members at all levels of the company are proactively involved in not only finding and identifying hazards but also in helping to find solutions to such problems, using the tools and process from our Operational Excellence Program.

Governor's Award for Safety Excellence

Phoenix Sintered Metals LLC recently earned the Prestigious "Governors Award for Safety Excellence"!

Driven by our commitment to the Operational Excellence Program in place at Phoenix, we have built a culture of mutual trust and respect with a tremendous focus on continuous improvement, always ranking safety as the top priority.
